Print Primer

Print Primer for Foil Coatings

If you’ve ever painted walls, you know that primer is almost always essential to get the best coat of paint across the canvas. Primer ensures even coating, protects the base material, and gives the final coating something easy to stick to.

Likewise, print primers are coatings we apply to substrates before printing on foil. Priming ensures improved surface adhesion of inks and coatings, increases durability and provides additional protection for your material. We carry several different types of print primers used with UV, Solvent, Emulsion, Digital Printing and Water Borne inks/coatings.

Our unique priming capabilities include converting light gauge unsupported foils along with high temperature curing for inks and coatings requiring exposure to extreme environmental conditions.
